General Info:

Lodging

Please be advised that these events are being held during MSU Homecoming and we anticipate a high demand for hotel accommodations in the East Lansing/Lansing/Okemos area. We recommend making your reservations ASAP with an understanding of the hotel’s cancellation policy.

While we do not have a block of rooms to offer you, here is a list of area hotels to make booking your room easier. Additionally, here is a list of B&Bs in the area.

Attire

Wondering what to wear? These events are meant to be casual and celebratory. Your comfort should be the most important consideration.

The party Friday evening will be outside in a tent with heaters and also indoors. Please dress accordingly for a Michigan fall. Think layers! Know that we will spend time walking around on grass, so you may want to avoid wearing heels that will sink in when walking.

Directions and parking information

As you are traveling to campus, we recommend using the address of 362 Bogue Street, East Lansing, MI 48825 for your destination. Once you are close to Snyder-Phillips, you will see additional directional signs.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, free parking will be available in lots on the east and west sides of Snyder-Phillips. You can view a campus map here, with Snyder-Phillips and the largest and closest parking area marked in green and other campus parking areas in red.

Both our event and the MSU Homecoming parade begin on Friday at 6 p.m. Though Snyder-Phillips is not on the route, you can find ways to navigate around it by viewing the parade map here.
