Fall 2009 Poetry Reading Series
All readings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the RCAH Theater in the basement of Snyder Hall on the campus of Michigan State University.
October 21
Soheil Najm and Dunya Mikhail, Iraqi poets who contributed to Flowers of Flame, published by the MSU Press in 2008.
October 28
Michael and Carrie Nobel Kline, Appalachian singer/songwriters from West Virginia. perform in concert.
November 4
Carolyn Smart, Canadian poet.
November 11
Thomas Lynch, National Book Award finalist, poet, undertaker, plus the winners of RCAH's first high school poetry contest.
*The Center will also host an informal conversation with Mr. Lynch the day
of his reading, Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 3:00PM in C203 Snyder Hall.
