Anita Skeen

From MSU Today / April 8, 2009: April is National Poetry Month. Anita Skeen is a professor in MSU's Residential College in the Arts and Humanities and leads the Center for Poetry, an active campus group that includes a number of student writers. Skeen tells us about the mission of the Center for Poetry and reads one of her new poems. Student-poets Lia Greenwell and Courtney Hilden talk about their involvement with the center and read from their work.

Steve Esquith

From MSU Today / January 18, 2007: Steve Esquith is dean of MSU’s Residential College in the Arts and Humanities, which opened in August 2007. Esquith talks about how the college is similar to and different from existing and well-known MSU residential programs James Madison College and Lyman Briggs College. He talks about the birth of the idea for RCAH, why the college’s mission is relevant to today’s job market for college graduates, and why RCAH students are more like rock climbers than ladder climbers.
