On Tuesday, July 31, from 7 to 9 p.m., participants in the Asan, South Korea Exchange Program will perform during a closing concert and awards ceremony in the second floor classrooms of Snyder-Phillips Hall.
Beginning in early July, the Lansing Sister Cities Commission has been hosting a joint intercultural program that challenges a delegation of 30 junior high school students from South Korea to collaborate with six Edgewood Scholars students on creative and civic engagement projects at MSU. With the guidance of Lansing Sister Cities Commission staff, RCAH faculty Joanna Bosse and Chris Scales, RCAH students Elle Abeles-Allison and Ben Thorp, and two students from the University of Michigan, students from the greater Lansing area and Asan have been engaged in a variety of activities centered on language learning, musical traditions and performance, and exploration of Michigan.
