On Sunday, February 3, from 1 to 3 p.m., during the First Sunday Gallery Walk, visit the RCAH for a reception celebrating "Loss Prevention" and "Photography by Brett King." Meet Brett King and view both exhibits on the second floor of Snyder-Phillips Hall, and enjoy light refreshments in the LookOut! Art Gallery.

"Loss Prevention"

The RCAH is sponsoring the second annual artist in residence exhibition in the series “Perspectives on African-American Experience: Emerging Visions,” with support from the MSU Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives. Artist Eto Otitigbe will be in residency in the RCAH from January 19 through 26, and will exhibit “Loss Prevention” in the RCAH's LookOut! Art Gallery from January 21 through February 15, 2013.

"Photography by Brett King"

Brett King, owner of The Scene Magic and an RCAH Artist in Conversation, is leading a series of interactive workshops focused on still photography essentials throughout the month of January. King's series will explore camera set-up, post-production techniques, the photographer's mindset, travel photography, and additional strategies for successfully and creatively shooting digital photography. A collection of King's photographs is currently displayed on the second floor of Snyder-Phillips Hall.

Beyond the First Sunday Gallery Walk, the LookOut! Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 12 to 3 p.m.
