Join us for an evening of music and conversation with Emmanuel Wokurach on April 23rd at 7-8:30pm in the LOOKOUT! Gallery in Snyder-Phillips Hall. This event is presented by Snares to Wares, a community-based conservation initiative dedicated to improving human livelihood and protecting wildlife in and around the village of Pakwach, Uganda.

ABOUT EMMANUEL

Emmanuel was born in Pakwach, Uganda. He has been playing the African Harp for most of his adult life, despite losing his eyesight to Cerebral Malaria at the age of 7. Emmanuel plays for the tourists at Paraa Safari Lodge, where they stay while visiting Murchison National Park.
