Wednesday Night Live: Candacy Taylor

At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, RCAH students, faculty, and staff are invited to join the RCAH in welcoming author, photographer, and documentarian Candacy Taylor for the fourth Wednesday Night Live of 2014-15.

About Candacy Taylor:

Candacy Taylor is an award-winning author, photographer and documentarian for the Library of Congress. She has traveled over 40,000 miles documenting American culture. Her work has been featured in The New Yorker, USA Today, The Wall St. Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle (cover), AARP, Ms. Magazine, Photographer’s Forum (cover), PBS and NPR. Taylor’s book and exhibit “Counter Culture: The American Coffee Shop Waitress” made Southwest Airlines’ top ten list of things to see in the United States and ABC optioned "Counter Culture" for a television series. She owns Taylor Made Culture, a company that produces multimedia projects that examine culture and identity in America. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
