At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, RCAH students, faculty, and staff are invited to join the RCAH in welcoming educational activist John Hunter as the first Wednesday Night Live guest of the year.

About John Hunter:

A native Virginian and graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, John Hunter is an award-winning gifted teacher and creator of the World Peace Game who has dedicated his life to helping children realize their full potential.

Hunter recently authored a book about his more than 30 years of teaching the World Peace Game, and a documentary detailing Hunter and his students titled World Peace and Other 4th-Grade Achievements was released in 2010.

John Hunter gave his TEDtalk about the World Peace Game in March 2011. This talk was selected by TED and the Huffington Post as the most influential idea of 2011. Time magazine also named John Hunter as one of “12 Educators to Watch in 2012” for his innovative and impactful teaching approach.

Hunter and the documentary film team have recently presented at the Pentagon, the United Nations, Google, Harvard, Georgetown, Aspen Ideas Festival and continue to be written about widely.
