RCAH alumna Emanuele Berry wins Hearst National Radio News Championship

RCAH and CAS School of Journalism alumna Emanuele Berry has been awarded first place in the Hearst National Radio Broadcast News Championship. Berry currently serves as host of WKAR's "Current State Weekend," and recently produced this radio story about the Art@Work project at Peckham, Inc. While completing her coursework in the RCAH and School of Journalism, Berry created this story about Elizabeth McMurray of Liz's Alterations in downtown Lansing for The Ave collaboration.

Additionally, in December 2012, Berry was one of the top national winners for a radio story through the Hearst Foundation Journalism Awards Program.
