Mitchell Tomlinson

Mitchell Tomlinson has been with Peckham, Inc., since 1976, and has been the CEO since 1994. He earned a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Tomlinson's accomplishments include creating new partnerships with Michigan State University, participating in a Harvard Business Review case study of best practices in nonprofits, and overseeing a growth of more than 1000 percent in revenues. He has been awarded the Management Excellence award from the National Council of Work Centers, the Award of Excellence from the Michigan Rehabilitation Conference and named Business Man of the Year by the Southside Business Association. In 2010, he received the John G. Thodis Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Award, Special Achievement Award for Peckham's significant contributions to the industry and community. He is also a 2010 recipient of the Socially Responsible Entrepreneur of th Year Award from the 2010 Greater Lansing Business Monthly Entrepreneurial Awards.

Tomlinson is the Vice Chair of the State's Council on Labor and Economic Growth and is on the Rehabilitation Counseling Program Advisory Committee at MSU. He serves as board member and past president of the 501 Alliance and is a member of Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) local advisory committee.
