배유경은 고등교육을 공부하는 박사과정 학생입니다. 학부에서는 재료공학과 교육학을 공부했으며 석사과정은 인적자원개발과 고등교육을 전공했습니다. 현재는 과학분야에서 학부 교육과정의 정치사회적 의미와 역할에 관심을 두고 있습니다. 특히 교수개인의 교육과정에 대한 인식이 수업구성에 미치는 영향을 연구합니다.
Yukyung Bae is a doctoral student in the Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education program. She was born and raised in South Korea and came to the US for graduate studies. She studied material engineering and pedagogy in her undergraduate. In her master's, she studied human resource development and higher education. Now, her research interest centers on the socio- political role of the science curriculum in undergraduate education. She loves collaborating with science faculty who commit to fostering civic engagement and socially responsible scientists through their teaching. In addition, she is interested in learning that occurs in interdisciplinary, formal, and informal settings. Before she joined RCAH, she was a Scholarship of Undergraduate Teaching and Learning (SUTL) fellow at Lyman Briggs College.
