Marhaba - Hello,
My name is Azad Hassan, and I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the School of Planning, Design, and Construction at Michigan State University. I hold two masters’ degree in Statistics and Spatial Planning, and both granted from University of Duhok, Iraq-Kurdistan Region. Since I am a Kurdish, my mother tongue is Kurdish. Yet, I speak Arabic like a native as I was born and raised in Baghdad. I understand a bit of Turkish as well as Persian but never tried to develop these foreign languages to the level I have when I speak English! I love watching movies in a theater, reading novels when my nose is out of planning books, and recently founding startups.
