Jose Martinez-Hinestroza es un estudiante de tercer año del doctorado en Curriculum, Instruction and Teacher Education del College of Education.  Obtuvo su grado como ingeniero, antes de obtener su grado de maestría en educación, ofrecido en su país natal, Colombia, por la SUNY at Buffalo.  Luego de trabajar como professor, y como coordinador de un centro de idiomas, Jose actualmente trabaja en investigación relacionada con la preparación de futuros profesores de estudiantes bilingües, y también con profesores de matemáticas de estudiantes bilingues en la escuela primaria.

    Jose Martinez-Hinestroza is a third year doctoral student in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education, in the College of Education. He got his  degree as an engineer, before getting a Master’s degree in education  offered in his native Colombia by SUNY at Buffalo. Having worked as a  teacher, and as a language center coordinator, he currently works in  research related to the preparation of future teachers to work with  bilingual learners, and also with mathematics teachers in bilingual elementary school classrooms.
