She has a deep appreciation for RCAH through her own transformative liberal arts education after receiving her BA in art history from Oberlin College. As a formally trained museum professional, Emily began her non-profit career working in museum education across the country, including: the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix, Arizona; Explora in Albuquerque, New Mexico; the New Mexico History Museum/Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe, New Mexico; and the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame in Lansing. Emily began working in fundraising for RCAH at MSU after working for the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame as first Assistant Director and then Executive Director.
