Join Professors Chris Scales and Anita Skeen for RCAH's 2017 Appalachian Weekend near Elkins, West Virginia. On the Fall 2012 trip, students enjoyed a concert with Michael and Carrie Kline, conversation with the Klines about oral history research, a trip to a buckwheat farm, guitar and singing instruction, and more. Costs for the weekend:
$350.00. Includes transportation, lodging, meals (except for lunches on the road). Must be paid by Friday, September 15, 2017. 12 slots for students are available. Students will be taken on a first come, first paid basis. Checks payable to Talking Across the Lines. Travelers will go in vans driven by Professors Skeen and Scales and will leave Snyder-Phillips early on Friday, September 22, and return by 6 p.m. on Monday, September 25.
