How did you decide on RCAH?
I decided on RCAH because it was the only college that allowed me to pursue my creative pursuits such as music, art, and writing, while also fulfulling my passions for working with people, helping to solve problems in society, and making real, lasting social change. While other schools had opportunities to do art, or talk about culture, no other school merged the two in this way or taught students the skills required to use their creative talents to do things that are so real, needed, and useful in the world today.

What are your academic interests?
Writing, music, art, and social science.

What are your favorite aspects of the RCAH experience?
I love how RCAH has a tight knit community and family feel, where students and faculty know each other by name, yet it's part of a huge university filled with so many oportunities to expand in whichever way you want. It's thrilling to be connected to so many passionate individuals with the same interests, to discuss and build off each other, and to work together through fantastic opportunities to help people. I feel so lucky to have opportunities to use my strengths and passions to create social change.

What are your future plans?
I'm double majoring in James Madison's school of Social Relations and Policy now, and I'm looking for careers that can merge my creative passions with policy change. Directly after graduating, I'm considering working for Global Leadership Adventures or joining the Peace Corps, but I am still undecided.

What are your hobbies and interests within and outside of RCAH?
Creative writing (I'm writing two novels and some short stories), arranging and singing music with RCAHppella, drawing, researching, spirituality, meditation, MSU Greenpeace, and hanging out with friends.

Have you ever taken part in Study Abroad/Study Away at MSU? I
I took part in the Cultures of Creativity program in Detroit before my first year with other incoming RCAH freshmen.
