How did you decide on RCAH?
I chose the RCAH because of the community it offered me. I immediately felt welcomed and wanted by this college, and was really struck by how close this community seemed to be; I wanted to be a part of it. The RCAH also encompasses a number of areas of study that I am extremely passionate about. As a freshman who was unsure of what exactly I wanted to do, the RCAH offered me a safe place to explore my interests and really develop my niche.

What are your academic interests?
I am majoring in the RCAH and Social Work, a true combination of many of my academic passions. I am particularly interested in social justice and intergroup dialogue/facilitation. I enjoy studying education, from its history to different methods of teaching. Additionally, I love anything and everything having to do with policy.

What are your favorite aspects of the RCAH experience?
My most favorite aspects of the RCAH experience are my relationships with my peers and my professors. I truly have come to feel as though the RCAH is an extended version of my family. The support I feel daily from my peers and professors is unimaginable; it has become a community that is very important to me.

What are your hobbies and interests?
I love to read, write and learn. I also enjoy cooking and baking, thrifting, running, yoga, making crafts, knitting, spending time with my friends and family and traveling.

What are your future plans?
In the future I hope to work with young people in an educational setting with a focus on social justice and creativity. I am also very interested in working in the nonprofit sector.
