How did you decide of RCAH?
I knew I always wanted to be a Spartan, but did not always know what I wanted to major in. When looking into the different programs at MSU, I found the RCAH. Once I took a tour and meet the faculty and students I was sold. In the RCAH I was able to combine all of the things I loved to do into one major.
What are your academic interests?
I have a lot of academic interests, which is one of the reasons I chose the RCAH. I love visual arts, community service and outreach, and working with kids. The RCAH has allowed me to study and grow in all of these areas, sometimes all at the same time.
What are your favorite aspects of the RCAH experience?
My all time favorite aspect is the RCAH community. When I enter into Sny-Phi and walk down the RCAH hallway it feels like home. The faculty, staff, and students are so welcoming and kind. The feeling I get when in the RCAH community is like nothing else on campus.
What are your future plans?
There are a lot of things I hope to do in my future! But, right after graduating I hope to work where I’m interning, at Highfields. There I work with kids in foster care. I hope that I am able to bring my art skills into the mix and eventually use art to help and teach the kids I am working with.
What are you hobbies and interests within and outside of RCAH?
I like staying involved in the RCAH. Since my sophomore year, I have been apart of the RCAH Council and was the facilitator last year. We put on great events and take fun trips. I have made so many great friends and meet lots of new people through council. I also am a RCAH Ambassador. Outside of the RCAH, I like to exercise and take workout classes. I also loving doing outdoor activities like biking, hiking, and skiing. My biggest hobby outside the RCAH is shoe shopping. :)
