Biography

Kyle L. Chong's research uses Asian Critical Race Theory and Decolonial theories to interrogate transnational Asian and Asian Diasporic identities and their implications for curriculum, education, and other social contexts. Guided by these conceptual lenses, Kyle uses a broad conceptualization of curriculum to include the curricula of violence, curricula of dislocation and embodied curricula to consider the ways people are shaped (socialized, racialized, politicized & nationalized) by curricular contexts that transcend formal school spaces.
