Kristin Phillips is a communications assistant for the RCAH, assisting with writing, editing, design, and outreach. An RCAH alum, she is no stranger to the program and MSU. Kristin holds a BA in two majors: Arts and Humanities through the RCAH and Professional Writing through the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures (WRAC). After graduating in May of 2014, she continued to work for the university as an assistant for the Espresso Book Machine printing press at the MSU Library, and then later as a web assistant for the Kellogg Biological Station. Kristin then went on to become the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for local non-profit, Michigan Audubon, for a year and a half. Through this communications position, she found a love of design and decided to pursue a MFA in graphic design at the e-learning branch of the Savannah College of Art and Design. In between her work at the RCAH, Kristin continues to slog away at her fantasy novels, jewelry projects, and artwork. She currently lives in East Lansing with her boyfriend, her two sisters, six guinea pigs, and mischievous orange cat, Calcifer.
