Based on original research, and intuitive insights as an exponent and choreographer of Odissi for several decades, Oopali Operajita will explore the connection between Odissi, its practice, her practice in particular, temple sculpture, and classical music. There will be a slide show and a short lecture demonstration, which illustrate the aforementioned connections.
Classical Indian dancer Oopali Operajita is a winner of national and international awards and a widely known choreographer.
