Taylor Martin My research interests fall within two broad categories. The first is positive youth development in school and community settings. The second is community-engaged learning in higher education settings. I strive to conduct community-engaged and -based research (i.e., action research, community-based participatory research) that promotes social justice and equity. As someone who attended a small, liberal arts university as an undergrad, I am very passionate about liberal arts education. I hope to learn more about liberal arts and community-engaged educational practices throughout my fellowship experience. For my dissertation, I intend to conduct a mixed-methods study to reach an expert consensus on best practices in community-engaged learning in undergraduate education.
