November 1, 2018 - Diversity and Inclusion Subject of Deans' Dialogues Discussion November 2

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are core values of the University and critical components of the RCAH curriculum that are embedded in its courses. In this session, Dean Stephen Esquith and the faculty, staff, and students of the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities will share their experiences working collaboratively with organizations in diverse communities to address social justice issues and community needs.

The dialogue will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 2, in Room C201 of Snyder Hall, 362 Bogue Street. The series is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Presented by the IDEA Coordinators of Michigan State University, the Deans’ Dialogue Series is a 90-minute, University-wide program during which the campus community can learn more about MSU colleges' ability to establish and maintain diversity and inclusion excellence as a core value, as well as a time for deans, faculty, students, and staff to discuss their role in influencing and reshaping policies and practices within their colleges.

The series is sponsored by: The Academic Advancement Network; the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives; the Office of the Provost; Michigan State University; and the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities
