Cynthia Huntington is a professor of English and creative writing at Dartmouth College and the Poet Laureate of New Hampshire. She holds an MA from the Breadloaf School of English at Middlebury College. Her publications include The Fish Wife (University of Hawaii Press, 1985), We Have Gone to the Beach (Alice James Books, 1996), The Salt House (University Press of New England, 1998), and The Radiant (Four Way Books, 2003). She has won a number of awards, including the Beatrice Hawley Award, the Jane Kenyon Award, and the Levis Prize.
