Jimmy Manning of Nunavut, Canada, is an artist, photographer and retired print studio manager of the famous Kinngait Studios in Cape Dorset, Nunavut. Manning is an integral figure in the development of the West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative and of Inuit art in general. Incorporated in 1959, the West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative was the first Inuit-owned cooperative to be formed with start-up assistance from the Canadian federal government.
As part of Indigenous Peoples' Day Celebration, Manning spoke on the history and future of Inuit printmaking.
