Sangeetha Patil is a Sophomore at Michigan State University, originally from North Carolina, and has loved her time in the RCAH program, as it aligned with her academic goals and artistic passions. Her journey here began as a ROOT Scholar in Fall 2024, which allowed her to form strong friendships and relationships within the community and to learn more about what it means to major in the Arts and Humanities. RCAH’s environment allowed her to be part of this close-knit community while living within a larger college, enjoying the benefits of both experiences. RCAH’s creative spaces appealed to her passions, and she was happy to find a job perfect for her goals in progressing her experience, and is excited to be working as an RCAH Communications Intern.
Additionally, she worked for an RCAH alumnus as a Digital Media Assistant for the Department of Psychology at MSU, where she learned about combining the arts and humanities with other fields. She looks forward to continuing her artistic skills in a professional setting, learning from experienced colleagues, and creating genuine relationships.
