RCAH Professor Eric Aronoff recently published an article that is part of an ongoing book project on anthropology and science fiction.
“Its work,” he explains, “that has informed and been inspired by conversations I’ve had with students in my course Fictions of Science and Technology, which I’ve taught for over 10 years in the College.”
His article, “Martian Modernism: Modernist Anthropology, Science Fiction, and the Idea of Culture in Ray Bradbury’s ‘—And the Moon Be Still as Bright’,” is published in a special cluster on “Modernism and Science Fiction” in the online PrintPlus format of the journal Modernism/Modernity, a leading journal in modernist literary studies. https://modernismmodernity.org/forums/modernism-and-science-fiction
