In Costa Rica this project is called (un)liberated imaginaries in Monteverde, Costa Rica
What would a future world of healthy ecosystems—clean water, accessible nature, intact and accessible forests—look like? Youth and artists from two countries and RCAH students and faculty from MSU have begun an artistic journey to find out. From Detroit, Michigan, to Monteverde, Costa Rica, we know that achieving healthy ecosystems starts with understanding what we want, who we are, what lies beneath, and what lies inside. Join us for a first look at our exploration of land and water, plastics and privatization, and identity and justice as we co-generate a new understanding of youth futures in the Americas.
